This is an introductory course for undergraduate students, concerning key concepts, methods and theories of comparative politics. Drawing from both classical works and recent research, students will explore key dimensions of comparative politics through four interconnected aspects: Political Transition, State and State Capacity, Institutions and Political Economy, as well as Culture and Opinion. The primary goal of the course is for students to gain knowledge and academic skills in the field of comparative politics and learn to analyze important questions in different political contexts.
